Pillar College's 2011-12 enrollment was severely a ffected by Hurricane Irene, which caused the institution to move its main campus just before the academic year began. The many changes that the school underwent in that time deeply impacted enrollment and retention for that year. Of those that enrolled, 1 was able to return and complete the BA, though after 150% of the normal time.

1. Note for both the 2011-2012 General Population and TAG Recipient Graduation/Transfer data. Thomas Edison State University enrolls primarily part-time, non-first time students; the majority are working adults. Although data is provided on this for m, the University does not compute graduation "rates" for its overall student body. Instead, the University examines graduation "outcomes" as measured in the IPEDS Outcomes Measures (OM) Survey; the O M survey examines outcomes related to non first-time, part-time students.
2. In FY 2012 (2011-2012), there were 49 students who received TAG grants; these students were "new" to Thomas Edison State University not necessarily first time students.
3. The TAG cohort reported in Column A included 5 students who were enrolled at the Associate degree level. National Student Clearinghouse data was used to determine if students went on to pursue their studies at another institution (Column F)
