State Deadlines

Financial Aid Deadlines 2026–2027
Students who received a Tuition Aid Grant in AY 2025-26 and want to renew their aid for AY 2026-27 are to meet the following deadlines:
Fall 2026 and Spring 2027

Your FAFSA or New Jersey Alternative Financial Aid Application must be processed by this date. Do not wait until the final day! It takes at least 3 days for the Federal Processor to process your FAFSA. The processed date is after all required signatures and consents are met and is the date HESAA uses to determine if you filed on time.

Complete State Record in NJFAMS*
(State tasks, verification, corrections, reevaluations, adding a college, etc...)
Spring 2027 only (Applications received after April 15, 2026 but by February 15, 2027)
