Part-Time Tuition Aid Grant (TAG)
Part-Time TAG for County College Students provides pro-rated awards to TAG-eligible, New Jersey county college students taking 6 - 11 credits per term.
Benefits
- May cover up to the cost of tuition
- Amount of an individual grant varies based upon financial need, cost of attendance and available funding
- Renewable annually based upon continued eligibility
Eligibility
- Demonstrate financial need
- U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Permanent resident of New Jersey for at least 12 consecutive months immediately prior to enrollment
- Registered with Selective Service, if required
- Enrolled at a New Jersey county college
- Enrolled for 6 - 11 credits per term in an approved degree or certificate program
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress
- Not have a baccalaureate degree or an associate degree
- Not have received the maximum number of grant payments permitted
- Not be in default on a federal or state student loans
- Not owe a refund on a federal or state student grant
- Not be enrolled in a program leading to a degree in theology or divinity
How Do I Apply?
- Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by NJ state deadlines.
