NJ STARS is a program that was created in 2004 by the State of New Jersey to provide access to higher education for the State's highest achieving students. Below are the Fact Sheets for specific groups of students. Please select the Fact Sheet that corresponds to your status.
If you are a partner to a civil union or your parents are in a civil union, you may provide additional information using the Civil Union Worksheet. If you are independent, you should complete the 2010-11 Independent Student Civil Union Worksheet. If you are dependent, your parents should complete the 2010-11 Dependent Student Civil Union Worksheet.
