Notice of NJ World Trade Center Scholarship Fund Board Meeting
The New Jersey World Trade Center Scholarship Fund Board of Trustees will hold a meeting by teleconference on July 22, 2010 at 3:00 pm. The meeting will be held in the Building 2 conference room at the Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA) offices, 4 Quakerbridge Plaza, Hamilton Township, New Jersey.
A copy of the agenda is attached. Members of the public are invited to attend. However, individuals wishing to speak at the meeting must sign up at least 48 hours in advance by calling the Authority at (609) 588-7121. Remarks should be limited to no more than five minutes.
This announcement is made in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, P.L. 1975, c. 231 (C.10:4-6 et seq.). Under statute, the authority is not required to purchase space for publication of this notice nor does the Authority intend to do so by submission of this notice.
Established in 1959, the Higher Education Student Assistance Authority provides students and families with the financial and informational resources for students to pursue their education beyond high school.
Since 1959, HESAA, a non-profit, state designated Authority, has delivered over $18 billion in financial aid. Each year, over 1 million individuals receive assistance from outreach and aid programs administered by HESAA including the Tuition Aid Grant (TAG) program, the Part-time TAG for County College Students, NJSTARS and STARS II, the Coordinated Garden State Scholarship program, the Federal Family Education Loan program, NJCLASS, and NJBEST.
